Miruna Pascu, the mother of Vlad Pascu, the 19-year-old driver under the influence of drugs who killed two young people and injured three others in 2 Mai, has been remanded in custody for 30 days, following a decision by the Bucharest Court, write Agerpres.
Miruna Pascu is accused by the Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) of crimes against the administration of justice, after allegedly blackmailing a girl, a witness in the case against her son.
Miruna Pascu threatened the witness that she would make compromising information and images public if the latter cooperated with prosecutors. Three other young men were taken to the Bucharest court, including Tudor Duma, suspected of supplying drugs to Vlad Pascu and the one who broke into the pharmacy of Floreasca Hospital shortly before being picked up and taken to DIICOT for questioning.
