In December 2022, the ambassador of Bangladesh in Romania, His Excellency Mr. Daud ALI, said, in an exclusive interview for ecopoliticnews.com, that only at the end of 2020, after reopening the Bangladeshi mission in Romania, only 540 people got work visa. „Previously there was a very small number of Bangladeshi people who came here with work visa. But after our arrival this number is increasingly rapidly. As an example, only at the end of 2020, after opening our mission, only 540 people got work visa. In the next year, this number increased to 2.354. This year, until 18th November, the number is 8.064. So now you see how important is the presence of a diplomatic mission. If we are not here, maybe this number could be one or two hundred”, His Excellency Mr. Daud ALI, said.
