3,612,706 Ukrainian citizens have entered Romania since February 10, 2022

The General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF) informs on Friday that, as of February 10, 2022 and until now, 3,612,706 Ukrainian citizens have entered Romania, Agerpres informs.

On Thursday, according to the IGPF, 7,889 Ukrainian citizens entered our country.

According to a press release sent to Agerpres on Friday, on February 23, 2023, approximately 145,400 people, Romanian citizens and foreigners and over 44,500 means of transport, went through the border crossing points, both on their way in and out of the country.

There were 72,147 people who entered Romania on Thursday.

On the same day, the border police detected 46 illegal acts (30 offences and 16 misdemeanors) committed by both Romanian and foreign citizens.

The value of the goods seized by the police amounted to 1,164,637 RON.

According to the same source, 19 foreign citizens who did not meet the conditions provided by law were not allowed to enter the country, and 25 Romanian citizens were also not allowed to leave for various legal reasons.
