Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday called on the international community to promote the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in the new circumstances and jointly build a community with a common future for humanity, according to Xinhua news agency.
Xi made the remarks when addressing the Conference Marking the 70th Anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence in Beijing.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang chaired the conference. The conference was attended by high-ranking Chinese officials, including Cai Qi.
Around 600 people, including former foreign political leaders, representatives of international and regional organizations, emissaries from over 100 countries, experts and scholars, as well as media and business representatives, attended the conference. An official lunch and four sub-forums were held on the same day.
Former President Igor Dodon wrote on his Facebook page that he had the honor to greet President Xi Jinping at the meeting.
„I believe that the deepening of bilateral strategic strategic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the People’s Republic of China corresponds to our national interests,” Dodon wrote on Facebook.
