90 Romanian companies present at SIAL Paris 2024 – the world’s leading food innovation exhibition

90 Romanian companies are participating in one of the most important exhibitions in the food industry – SIAL Paris 2024, being the most important Romanian participation in an international exhibition.

The SIAL Paris 2024 event takes place from October 19-23, 2024 and brings together professionals from all over the world, providing a platform to explore the latest trends and solutions in the food industry. This year’s theme, ‘Own the Change’, urges attendees to embrace industry change and respond to global challenges.

Romanian companies participating include: Cris-Tim, Plafar, Napoca Rya Vita Romania, Kosarom, ZIMBRIA, Agricola – Creator de Pofta, Mirdatod Ibănești.

Răzvan Pîrcălăbescu, Cabinet Director of the Minister of Economy, together with the President of ANSVSA (National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority), Alexandru Bociu, the President of the Association for the Promotion of Romanian Food – APAR, Stefan D. Padure and the representative of BPCE Paris, Rogojinaru Liviu, present at the event, relayed the support of the Romanian Government to the businessmen who participated both with their own stand in the national pavilion or as visitors.

Pîrcălăbescu: Now more than ever it is necessary to increase exports, which amounted to €61.13 billion in the first 8 months and turn the trade deficit (€20.91 billion) into a trade surplus.

The ANSVSA President, together with the Director General Dr. Cristian Mortasivu and veterinary experts, had the opportunity to meet with representatives of Romanian companies, which presented a variety of products, including meat and meat preparations, bakery products, pastries, pastries, dairy products, sweets, canned vegetables and fruit, organic products, natural juices and beer.
