AGERPRES special correspondent Oana Ghita, reports: President Klaus Iohannis stated, on Thursday, ahead of the European Council’s reunion, that he will convey to the meeting the need for support and attention for Ukraine.

„I will clearly express the need for solidarity with Ukraine, the need for support for Ukraine and the need for attention to Ukraine,” said the president.

According to Klaus Iohannis, attention is currently directed towards the Middle East.

„Ukraine is next to us, it is the country that will become part of the European Union,” Klaus Iohannis stressed.
