PM Ciolacu: Romania joins international community in supporting Israel’s efforts of releasing hostages taken by Hamas

Published on

Romania is joining the international community in supporting Israel’s efforts of freeing hostages taken by Hamas, prime minister Marcel Ciolacu said after his meeting at the Victoria Palace, on Thursday, with the Israeli minister of interior, Moshe Arbel, and members of the families of a few Israeli citizens of Romanian origin who were taken hostages in the Gaza Strip.

„Romania is joining the international community in supporting Israel’s efforts of freeing hostages taken by Hamas. We are full of compassion for the families of the hostages,” the prime minister said in a post on the Government’s X (former Twitter) page.

In the same context, the head of the Executive reiterated that „deescalating is a viable solution in reestablishing security in the region.” AGERPRES
