The Government will approve on Thursday a state aid scheme financed by European funds to increase energy production from renewable sources, prime minister Marcel Ciolacu announced.
„Today we are also operationalising the largest investment for the energy transition. We are talking about more than 3 billion euros, financed by European funds. It is a state aid scheme to increase energy production from renewable sources: wind, solar, hydro, nuclear and hydrogen resources,” said the prime minister.
According to him, it is very important that energy storage technology will also be funded.
„The completion of these investments will lead to a lower price in the medium and long term and a higher production of green energy,” Ciolacu stressed.
