The Union of Employees of the National Companies Registry Office (SAONRC) is protesting today before the Ministry of Justice, asking for a 15% increase in base pay and extra hazard pay.

„SAONRC is calling on the Romanian Government to take urgent steps to increase pay by 15% the base pay, given that ONRC is the public institution with the lowest pay level in justice. At the same time, we demand hazard pay and pay for neuropsychic overload, which is awarded to all other categories of employees in the occupational family Justice,” the unionists say.

According to the protest schedule, on April 26, starting at 11:00hrs, a rally was to be held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, and in August, a collective labour conflict was to be started.

ONRC employees were on strike on April 18-22, and on April 23-25, they held rallies in all counties before ONRC bodies.
