Romanian companies are accelerating pace of AI solutions implementation

The implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in Romanian companies has seen an important increase in the last year, stimulated by technological developments and the need to optimize internal and external processes, investments in this regard reaching 10% of turnover, according to the analysis of Tara Interactive, a Romanian software development company.

According to the source, this trend accelerates in 2024, as companies look for solutions to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

The research says that the implementation of AI solutions was present last year in various sectors in Romania, with notable examples in the field of health, where artificial intelligence algorithms are used for medical diagnosis, and in the financial sector, where AI is used for fraud detection and optimization transactions.

The analysis also shows that AI finds its applications in multiple industries in Romania. Thus, in the IT sector, artificial intelligence assists programmers in the development of software solutions, and in electronic commerce, it helps to document products and generate images.

At the same time, in the financial sector, fraud detection is significantly improved by AI artificial intelligence solutions.

Tara Interactive ended 2023 with business of over 1.2 million euros (at group level), up 15% compared to the previous year. For 2024, the company estimates an advance of approximately 30% for the business carried out in Romania and of approximately 80% for the international one, in the context in which more than 70% of the company’s business takes place outside Romania.

It was founded in 1991 as an IT company oriented towards the implementation of new technologies and currently has over 50 employees in offices in Bucharest and Chisinau and carries out international projects in the USA, Great Britain, Europe, Romania, in fields such as fintech, sports , consulting, transport, logistics, eCommerce and retail.
