Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Thursday’s session in the green

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s session with growth on most indices, and turnover amounted to 5.18 million RON (1.041 million euros) 30 minutes after the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered an appreciation of 0.30%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded an increase of 0.42%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, rose by 0.39%, while the performance benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.37%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs was down by 0.10%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.13%.

According to BVB data, Antibiotice (+5.09%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+3.38%) and Romcab (+2.94%) registered the biggest increases in the value of shares.

On the other hand, the shares Prebet Aiud (-14.44%), IAR Brasov (-4.04%) and Armatura (-3.74%) were down.
