Gov’t spokesman Constantin: Gov’t approves reorganisation of the Ministry of Finance, Tax Authority

On Thursday, the Government approved the reorganisation of the Ministry of Finance, ANAF [National Agency for Fiscal Administration], the National Office for Prevention and Control of Money Laundering and the National Authority for the Restitution of Property, the government spokesman, Mihai Constantin, informs.

„The government continued the reorganisation process with four government institutions, by adopting a new package of decisions in this regard. The four institutions are the Ministry of Finance, ANAF, the National Office for the Prevention and Control of Money Laundering and the National Authority for Property Restitution. These institutions are being reshaped according to Law no. 296/2023, which is meant to ensure the financial sustainability of Romania in the long term,” Mihai Constantin told a press conference held at the Victoria Palace.
