The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s trading session higher on most indexes, with turnover totaling 14.36 million lei (2.88 million euro) after 40 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.08%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.07%.
At the same time, the broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.04%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated 0.12%.
The SIFs’ BET-FI index was down 0.15% and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, fell 0.21%.
According to BVB data, Vrancart (+2.08%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+1.76%) and Medlife (+1.58%) recorded the biggest increases in share value
On the other hand, the shares of UAMT (-8.77%), SOCEP (-5.08%) and Prefab (-2.60%) were down.
