Participation rate in baccalaureate optional subject test is 97.8 pct, 24 examinees expelled

The participation rate in Thursday’s optional specialty subject test of the June – July 2024 session of the national baccalaureate exam was 97.8%, with 125,221 candidates sitting the test out of total of 128,055 candidates registered from all graduation classes.

According to a release from the Education Ministry, 2,810 candidates did not show up and 24 were expelled for cheating or attempted cheating, and will be banned from the next two sessions of the exam.

The written tests of the June-July baccalaureate session end on Friday with the mother tongue skills and literature test.

The first results (in exam centers and online) will be posted on July 8 (until 12:00 hrs), and appeals can be submitted/transmitted on the same day, between 12:00 and 18:00, inclusive by electronic means.

The final results will be announced on July 12 – in the exam centers and online.
