The water, light and music shows at the Urban Fountains are dedicated, starting on Friday, to the performances achieved by the Romanian Olympic athletes over the years, announced the general mayor of the Bucharest City, Nicusor Dan.
„The shows of water, lights and music at the Urban Fountains in Piata Unirii/Union Square turn into a celebration of victory. The Symphony of Water becomes the Symphony of Champions, a tribute to the Romanian Olympic athletes who have achieved exceptional results over the years. We are thus celebrating Romania’s Olympic performance through a new series of shows full of magic and emotion, starting from July 26 (when the official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games takes place in Paris), on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:30 p.m.,” the general mayor wrote on Facebook.
Romania will be represented at this edition of the Olympic Games by 106 athletes, 45 of them qualified for the rowing events.
