Save Romania Union (USR) Chairwoman Elena Lasconi asked President Klaus Iohannis and PM Marcel Ciolacu to explain what is happening with the Russian drones that entered Romania airspace, saying that it is absolutely revolting to find out from the Ukrainians more than from the Romanian authorities on the topic.

„It is absolutely revolting to find out from Ukrainians more than from the Romanian authorities! Russian drones have entered Romania’s territory last night and all we got from the Romanian authorities was a RO-Alert message for Constanta and Tulcea inhabitants. Mr President Iohannis, Mr Prime Minister Ciolacu, do you plan on explaining to us what is going on? What is the actual situation and what is Romania doing?,” Lasconi wrote on Facebook.

She added that in spring the head of the army was asking to modify the legislation to be able to down drones entering Romania’s territory.

„Mr Ciolacu, you have 60% in Parliament, are you doing anything? Has General Ciuca any word to say or is his boss, Klaus Iohannis, not letting him? Romania is in NATO and this is a great achievement, but Romania needs serious politicians in a difficult context,” Lasconi also said.
