Bucharest Stock Exchange opens week’s last session with growth

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s trading session with growth, and the value of exchanges amounted to 5.78 million RON (1.16 million euros) after 30 minutes from debut.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered an appreciation of 0.58%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded an advance of 0.59% .

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, increased by 0.53%, while the performance benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.46%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs opened up by 0.95%, and the BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered an appreciation of 0.44%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was increasing by 0.01%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Condmag (+11.11%), Prefab (+6.02%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+3.57%), while the shares of Promateris (-6.62%), Mecanica Fina (-3.85%) and Bittnet Systems Bucharest (-2.82%) were on the decline.
