Zhang Jiji, chief operating officer of Westedco (Wuhan) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., the agency company operating this consignment of goods, said the company has actively connected with Wuhan Hanou International Logistics Co., Ltd. to open the train to Romania, mainly based on market considerations. Currently, customers from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong, Hubei and other provinces and cities in China have a great need to export to Romania.

China hopes that the opening of the train between Wuhan and Constanța means the opening of a major passage to southern Europe.

The train, composed of 50 wagons loaded with glass tempering furnaces, fabrics, mechanical equipment and products for daily use, departed from Wujiashan Station on 31.07.2022. The train goes through Kazakhstan, Georgia, crosses the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, and will reach Constanța by combined rail-sea transport, according to the attached map.
