Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday’s trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s trading session higher on most indices, with transactions of 2.37 million RON (477,579 EUR) carried out in the first 30 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 0.18%, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares rose 0.19%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers advanced by 0.16%, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK, was up 0.09%.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies went down 0.01%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG gained 0.26%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.48%

According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Aerostar (+2.58), Alumil Rom Industry (+1.82%) and Sphera Franchise Group (+0,98%).

Conversely, the issuers on a downward trend were Condmag (-11.11%), Erste Group Bank AG (-2%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-1.36%).
