A photobook exhibition „75 years of Romanian-Chinese bilateral relations in photo snapshots and representative books” will be released this evening at the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) in Beijing.
The opening of the exhibition, organised with support from AGERPRES and the Chinese Cultural Centre, will take place on the same day as a similar exhibition opens at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Bucharest. The exhibition stays open throughout December 15, ICR Beijing reported on Tuesday.
Mounted at the exhibition are 35 90 x 60 cm photographs that capture summit meetings of the leaders of the two countries between 1966 and 2002, provided in a digital format by the National News Agency AGERPRES.
Also on display will be over 50 representative books of Romanian literature and history translated into Chinese over time, plus books from the Chinese culture translated and published in Romanian.
At the opening of the event, where the Romanian ambassador to China, Dan-Horia Maxim, and the director of ICR Beijing, Liviu Taranu, will deliver remarks, a classical guitar recital is scheduled by young artist Siena Vuscan.
Admission is free based on prior registration by scanning the QR code on the invitation, or directly on https://www.eventbrite.com/e/7575-years-of-romania-china-relations-photobook-exhibition-tickets-1053551152859?aff=oddtdtcreator.
