The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened with declines on most indices on Thursday, and turnover amounted to 6 million RON (1.2 million euros) after 50 minutes from the start of the session.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.15%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded a decline of 0.14%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, was down by 0.26%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.13%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a decrease of 0.83%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered a depreciation of 0.27%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by the companies Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+14.83%), Condmag (+12.50%) and Carbochim (+7.14%).
On the other hand, Sinteza (-6.67%), Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-4.73%) and Aerostar (-2.97%) shares were down.
