Bucharest Stock Exchange opens lower on Monday morning

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) showed a decline on most indices after the first hour and a half of trading on Monday, with transactions standing at a total of 12.32 million RON (2.47 million euros).

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a depreciation of 0.43%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, saw a decline of 0.42%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid securities, went down by 0.38%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.19% .

The BET-FI index of the SIFs went up 0.13% while the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down by 0.42%.

According to BVB data, CBC (+14.48%), Turism Felix (+9.68%) and Bittnet Systems SA Bucharest (+2.65%) recorded the highest increases in the value of shares.

On the other hand, the shares of Altur (-5.23%), Farmaceutica Remedia (-2.26%) and COTE (-2.07%) were decreasing.
