The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened on Tuesday with gains on almost all indices, with the turnover reaching 4.6 million lei (926,651 euros) after 30 minutes from the start of the session.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, showed an increase of 0.30%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on BVB, recorded a rise of 0.31%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 0.23%, while the benchmark index for investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated 0.41%.
On the other hand, the BET-FI index, which tracks the SIFs, recorded a decrease of 0.92%, while BET-NG, the index for the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered a rise of 0.25%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.24%.
According to BVB data, the biggest gains in stock prices were recorded by the companies Bermas (+13.33%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+7.87%), and Arobs Transilvania Software (+5.21%).
On the other hand, the biggest declines were seen in the stocks of UCM Resita (-4.92%), AAGES (-3.76%), and BVB (-3.45%).
