The Ministry of Education announces that the financing contracts through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) have been signed for the universities that will provide teacher training in agricultural high schools.

„Over half a million euro for training teachers in agricultural high schools across the country! Yesterday (Tuesday), I signed, at the Ministry of Education, the financing contracts through the PNRR won by the universities that will provide teacher training in agricultural high schools. This programme represents a major step in modernising agricultural education in Romania, adapting it to the demands of new technologies,” writes Minister of Education Ligia Deca on Facebook on Wednesday.

According to her, the training programme will address key topics such as digitization and artificial intelligence in agriculture, sustainable agricultural technologies, circular economy, pollution reduction in agriculture, biodiversity conservation, modern biotechnology, and financial management adapted to farms.

These subjects aim at both efficiency and sustainability, as well as the integration of new technologies in agriculture, the minister added.

„I wish success to the winners in implementing the projects!” Deca conveyed.
