Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Tuesday’s trading session with gains on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s session with increases on most indices, and the turnover amounted to 8.3 million RON (1.69 million euros), 30 minutes after the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.34%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.33%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.34%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.29%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded an appreciation of 0.51%, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an advance of 0.29%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.40%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+11.51%), Altur (+8.74%) and Condmag (+7.69%).

On the other hand, Rompetrol Rafinare shares (-2.31%), Safetech Innovations (-1.30%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-0.79%) were down.
