The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) announced on Monday that 18,979 polling stations will be organized in Romania for the presidential election.

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the AEP manages the Registry of Polling Stations in the country, a centralized database on the delimitation, numbering, locations and equipment of polling stations.

The Permanent Electoral Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 208/2015, updates the numbering of polling stations in Romania at the level of each county, respectively of the Bucharest municipality, starting with the county seat and continuing with those in municipalities, cities and communes, in their alphabetical order. In municipalities with administrative-territorial subdivisions, the numbering is done in compliance with the order of these subdivisions, the AEP also informed.

The list of polling stations organized in the country for the 2025 presidential election can be consulted on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority by accessing the following link: https://www.roaep.ro/management-electoral/geografie-electorala/registrul-sectiiloar-de-votare/.
