Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on the rise on most indices on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s session with increases on most indices and transactions amounting to more than 4.9 million lei (969,932 euros), 35 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.38%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.37%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.32%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.46%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.14%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, advanced 0.28%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.44%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Teraplast (+5.93%), Transelectrica (+3.45%) and Romcarbon (+2.73%).

On the other hand, the shares of AAGES (-2.72%), Evergent Investmenst (-2.38%) and Oil Terminal (-1.80%) were down.
