Published on

The draft government decision regarding the payment of Romania’s voluntary contribution, in the amount of 33,025 dollars, to the voluntary Fund for the Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine (NATO – Ukraine Comprehensive Assistance Package Trust Fund) is put up for public debate on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) until May 23.

According to the regulatory act, participation is offered by redirecting the remaining unallocated amount related to Romania’s contribution to the NATO Voluntary Fund for the Support of the Afghan National Army (ANA TF).

The Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine is a voluntary NATO fund, and Romania’s contribution is made by redirecting the remaining unallocated amount related to Romania’s contribution to the NATO Voluntary Fund for Supporting the Afghan National Army.

The residual, unspent amounts will be directed to other voluntary NATO funds, depending on Romania’s foreign policy and security interests.

Suggestions and opinions of interested persons regarding this project subject to public debate are expected, until the mentioned deadline, at the e-mail address dps@mae.ro or at the postal address of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Aleea Modrogan, no. 14, sector 1, Bucharest, code 011822.
