The Central Electoral Bureau centralized, by Monday, at 1:00 p.m., the data from all polling stations.
According to them, the mayor of the capital, Nicusor Dan, an independent candidate, obtained, in the second round of the presidential elections, a number of 6,168,642 votes (53.60%), and his opponent, AUR leader George Simion – 5,339,053 votes (46.40%).
Of the total of 19,945 polling stations in the country and abroad, data from 19,945 polling stations were centralized, representing 100%.
The total number of voters who turned out to vote is 11,641,999, representing 64.72% of the total number of voters registered on the permanent electoral lists.
The total number of valid votes cast is 11,507,695, representing 98.85% of the total number of voters who showed up to vote.
The total number of invalid votes is 134,234, representing 1.15% of the total number of voters who turned out to vote.
