The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened mixed Tuesday’s trading session, transactions amounting to almost 6 million lei (1.18 million euros) 40 minutes into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a decrease by 0.08%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a decrease by 0.06%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.05%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, stagnated.
The BET-FI index of SIFs appreciated by 0.12%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, fell by 0.05% after 40 minutes of trading.
BETAeRO, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, saw a decline of 0.04%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Carbochim (+14.44%), Romcab (+6.17%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (+3.11%).
On the other hand, the shares of Socep (-4.84%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-2.58%) and Rompetrol Rafinare (-2.55%) were in decline.
