Senate interim President Abrudean, to Romanians everywhere: Romania is home to each of you, your voice matters

Published on

Interim President of the Senate Mircea Abrudean sent a message on Sunday on the occasion of the Day of Romanians Everywhere.

‘On the occasion of the Day of Romanians Everywhere, I send my warmest thoughts of gratitude and respect to all those who live, work and contribute to Romania’s prestige beyond its borders. Wherever you may be, keep the Romanian language, culture and values alive. You represent, with dignity, an essential part of our national identity and a strong bond between Romania and the wider world. Today, more than ever, it is important to be united in spirit, even if we are far from one another. Romania is home for each and every one of you, and your voice matters,’ said Abrudean in his message, according to a Senate press release.

He thanked Romanians abroad for their ‘courage, effort and the contribution they make every day in promoting Romanian values around the world,’ and wished them ‘A Happy Day!.’
