The Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) has published the lists of the 91 projects financed under the Social Inclusion and Dignity Programme 2021-2027, worth a total of 232.5 million euros, the relevant minister, Marcel Bolos, informed on Thursday.
„Romania will have, in all regions, modern centres where children from vulnerable communities will find real support: education, sports, culture, counseling, trust. We have published the lists of 91 projects that will be developed with European money under the Social Inclusion and Dignity Programme 2021-2027, worth a total of 232.5 million euros. Specifically, those who submitted projects will receive non-refundable funds for construction works, modernisation or rehabilitation of infrastructure and equipping the centres with sports, cultural and educational equipment,” Bolos wrote on his Facebook page.
According to the same source, each centre will include facilities for recreational activities, sports halls, outdoor fields, classic and virtual libraries, thematic and creative workshops.
In parallel, the activities in these centres will also be financed: tutoring, social counseling, camps, experience exchanges, meals, accommodation and transportation for children in need.
„Everything is built on an integrated model, in which physical intervention is doubled by real services, adapted to the needs in the field. We are talking about the first intervention on a national scale that brings, in an integrated manner, infrastructure and social services for children at risk of poverty, social exclusion or school dropout,” the minister of European projects also wrote on the social media page.
