The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s session with increases on most indices, transactions amounting to 2.93 million lei (583,119 euros), 50 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.20%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.19%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.15%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, also appreciated by 0.03%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.16%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, stagnated.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, went down by 0.22%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Condmag (13.79%), Romcab (+2.58%) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (+2%).
On the other hand, the shares of Vrancart (-3.83%), Rompetrol Rafinare (-3.48%) and Compa (-2.72%) were decreasing.
