MEP Luis Lazarus says he is proposing that prosecutors investigating the Voiculescu-Cîțu case in Romania call European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as a witness and, why not, perhaps as a defendant if necessary.

„The discussion on the motion of censure has just ended. I am now leaving the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Unfortunately, the entire discussion that took place here was completely absurd and did not respect the democratic norms of common sense and transparency. In the end, Mr. Piperea was allowed to speak for three minutes, after which I don’t know how many people jumped on him. Well, those from the PSD PNL, our people.

After that, they let Ursula speak, to give her reply, if any. She had incredible nerve and started explaining things to us, going over the five minutes she had been allotted. She spoke for ten minutes, for a total of fifteen minutes, and didn’t even give Piperea four. So much for, shall we say, fairness in dialogue.

The person who comes and presents the motion says important things and raises truly relevant issues about how purchases were made during the pandemic, that is, 35 billion thrown down the drain, without bidding, without transparency, and how she, Ms. Ursulica, systematically refuses to disclose and make available the messages she exchanged with the head of Pfizer.

And now she has come up with something new and very interesting, something, you know I usually like to tell you new things, and to her new thing, I come up with something even newer. She said, „Sir, if you somehow imagine that the states didn’t know, I’m telling you that the states negotiated these contracts, you know, those contracts that are all blurred out, they’re all marked up so you can’t see the prices, you can’t see the clauses, you can’t see anything in them. So the states, I mean, negotiated together with the European Commission.

Come on, seriously, really? Well, let me tell you something, Ursulica. Mr. Voiculescu, who is now my colleague here in the European Parliament, I had a discussion with him at one point and I asked him. Hey, what are you doing with that file? Because he is being investigated in the billion-dollar vaccine procurement case from the pandemic, together with Cîțu. He was the Minister of Health and Cîțu was the Prime Minister, and he said, I have nothing to do with it because I didn’t sign anything, Cîțu took care of it. Then, what do you think Cîțu replied? If you want to know what happened during the pandemic, ask Ursula. Now that Ursula is coming to defend herself, you see, she did everything with great fairness and everything was impeccable, and she is a fighter for democracy and transparency and things like that, she starts saying that the states are to blame.

Look how they blame each other. Well, then I propose something new to Ursula. I propose that the prosecutors investigating the Voiculescu-Cîțu case in Romania call Ursula as a witness and, why not as a defendant, if necessary, so that she can first explain to Mr. Cîțu who made the purchases during the pandemic. Isn’t that normal? Okay, but what I wanted to point out is something else. She reminded us of something else new, she reminded us of the trucks in Bergamo that were collecting the dead, the corpses.

Well, let’s remind her that we also remember the tens of thousands of dead who were buried in Romania in black plastic bags without funeral services, and more than that, Ursulica, let me say something new, because I like to say new things like that, to shock people, and especially you, because I know you follow all my live streams and translate everything well. Dear, do you know what happened? One sunny day, I was with a larger team and Diana Șoșoac, and we were together in Lețcani. So this misfortune in Lețcani, which was a collection of containers that represented a mobile hospital. And we found there, just like in Auschwitz. We found some shoes, we found some clothes and more than that, hold on tight, some ID cards. Anyway, let’s be clear, when a person is alive, they have their ID card with them, they’re not going to leave it in Lețcani, right? When a person dies, that ID card is presented to the civil registry office to obtain a death certificate.

So, what were those ID cards doing there, in the hospital in Lețcani? Well, what else could they be doing there? They belonged to people who had died. We looked for those people, we couldn’t find them, and then we speculated that it was possible that these people, after they died, had been buried in a mass grave. You know about mass graves, Ursula, because all day long here, at the European Commission and the European Parliament, you talk only about what genocide is happening or has happened here and there. But you don’t talk about the genocide that took place in Romania through starvation, through the pandemic, through the redirection of resources from Romania to Ukraine. You’re not interested in that.

Oh, she is only interested in the fact that this motion is an act of extremism and a damn conspiracy. No, this is not simply a democratic process through which we hold Ursula accountable, so that she can explain to us how she spent the Commission’s money and, therefore, Romania’s money, among other things. No, it is a vulgar attempt to divide the institutions. That is how she sees this action. Not holding her accountable, right? So, she is trying to explain to us that people would die if science did not make extraordinary progress. And this extraordinary progress led to the development of the vaccine.

They are unable to find a vaccine for pigs to vaccinate them against swine fever, you know? But they managed to find a vaccine for humans in record time so that they could be vaccinated and escape this misfortune called the plandemic. And she doesn’t know anything else, namely that when we declared that miracle of a state of emergency, we didn’t have a single case in Romania. And then, when we gave up on the plandemic, because that’s the word, we simply gave up on the plandemic on the first day of the war, February 24, 2022.

That is, the day before, tens of thousands of new COVID cases were being reported, and when the war started, nothing was reported anymore, nothing was said about any cases. So that’s about it, Ursula, you’re not on the ball. She also says that extremists… Listen, instead of giving an account of what happened, she tells us that extremists hate Europe. Well, that’s not true, my dear. These extremists you refer to, that is, the right wing of Parliament, love their countries, man. Yes, man, we love our countries. Does it bother you that we love our countries? We love our countries, man. But Europe is not a country, girl. Europe is a continent made up of countries.

And we represent 27 countries there, that is, 450 million people, man, who expect a little decency, common sense, and, of course, transparency from us. You know what that is, sweetheart, transparency. You don’t know what transparency is because you simply marked up the contracts with a marker and sent them to us to see. Those are not contracts. That is not transparency. That is simply a scam that tries to cover up how you, this wonderful Commission, spent tens of billions.

And so, it is only natural and absolutely logical that you should also face a motion of censure from time to time, right? Just as happened in Romania, ironically today, a motion of censure against the government, so we did our job here and tabled a motion against the European Commission. And that is the government of Europe. Supposedly! As if Europe were a country.

Anyway, this will also be voted on on Thursday. So, dear friends, the battle is not yet lost, and even if we lose this round, we will win the next one,” says Luis Lazarus.
