The Bucharest Stock Exchange opened Thursday’s trading session with gains, recording a turnover of RON 3.02 million (EUR 596,057) 25 minutes after the session began.
The main BET index, tracking the 20 most liquid companies, registered an increase of 0.13%, while the BET-Plus index, which follows the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded a similar rise.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip BET-XT index, covering the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.05%, and the investment fund benchmark BET-BK also increased by 0.05%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks dropped 0.86%, while the BET-NG index, tracking 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, rose by 0.26%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.28%.
According to BVB data, the largest gains in share value were recorded by IAR SA Brasov (+3.21%), Electromagnetica (+1.8%), and Teraplast (+1.53%).
Conversely, declines were recorded by the shares of Bittnet Systems (-5.47%), Sinteza (-2.34%), and Turbomecanica (-1.59%).
