Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the red on Monday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session in the red on most indices, with the total value of transaction standing at 8.3 million lei (1.6 million euros) 30 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.21%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, lost 0.20%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, went down 0.22%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.02%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decrease of 0.23%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down 0.39%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, inched up 0.28%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by UAMT (+4.17%), Condmag (+2.56%) and Transilvania Investments Alliance (+2.13%).

On the other hand, the shares of SIF Hoteluri (-11.43%), Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-3.85%) and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-3.38%) were decreasing.
