Independent Member of the European Parliament Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI) announced in Strasbourg that Romania has finally elected its president.

He also pointed out that Romania has a president, after a series of violations of the Constitution that involved both the elimination of candidates and the effective cancellation of the elections, a president who for about a month has been unable to find a prime minister.
