The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly higher on Thursday on trades of RON 5.12 million (EUR 1.01 million ) half an hour into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.35%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 0.33%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks went up 0.27%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, went up 0.42%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks decreased by 0.55%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, increased by 0.37%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Artego (2.65%), Teraplast (+2.58%) and Impact Developer & Contractor (+1.77%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Mecanica Fina (-4.84%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-3.44%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-3.39%)
