The organization „Evrazia,” backed by fugitive convict Ilan Shor and responsible for several soft power and propaganda projects in the Republic of Moldova, was the target of a cyberattack, according to Deschide.Md.
The Deschide.MD editorial office received a bunch of info with internal documents, monthly budgets, and chats from a team coordination chat.
Among the materials obtained is a list of employees of companies affiliated with Șor, such as A7, ТРЕЙС РОАД, ЭНИКЕЙ, as well as organizational charts featuring individuals associated with the group led by Ilan Șor. Among them are former MP Maria Albot and journalist Svetlana Muntean from the MD24 portal, who are allegedly connected to bloggers and administrators of Telegram channels in the Republic of Moldova.

According to internal discussions, members of Evrazia use pseudonyms. For example, Ilan Shor allegedly used the name „Travolta.”

The group’s conversations also reveal that protests were planned on the eve of Prime Minister Dorin Recean’s visit to Taraclia on July 27. People were urged to bring brooms and organize themselves into groups of 3-5 people.

These revelations shed light on how the Kremlin’s influence networks operate and show that some of the propaganda and financing mechanisms in Moldova have been compromised.
The Deschide.MD editorial team will return shortly with more information about the activities of the Evrazia organization and members of the SHOR criminal group.
