The Supreme Council for National Defence (CSAT) is meeting on Thursday at the Cotroceni Palace, with the main topic of the session being the security of national airspace.
According to the Presidential Administration, the agenda includes topics related to the establishment of objectives requiring protective measures against threats specific to unmanned aerial systems, as well as the general technical requirements for the equipment and technical systems needed to implement these protective measures.
Also on the agenda is the matter of determining the individuals authorised to order or approve the execution of measures against aircraft and aerial vehicles that are using national airspace without authorisation, as well as the procedure for informing relevant parties regarding certain actions undertaken to control the use of national airspace.
During the Council’s meeting, other current issues concerning national security will also be analysed. AGERPRES
