Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on the rise on most indices on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s session on the rise on most indices, with transactions amounting to a total of 7.59 million lei (1.4 million euros) 30 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, inched up 0.26%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was also up by 0.25%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, advanced 0.21%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, went slightly up by 0.17%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs was down 0.05%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.30%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, decreased by 0.16%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by Armatura (+14.40%), Fondul Deschi de Investitii ETF BET BRK (+5.22%) and Transgaz (+1.79%).

On the other hand, shares of Condmag (-3.57%), Rompetrol Rafinare (-1.76%) and AAGES (-1.20%) were down. AGERPRES
