Traffic at Bucharest’s Henri Coanda and Baneasca airports under normal conditions, without disruptions

Air traffic at Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport and Bucharest-Baneasa International Airport is operating under normal conditions, without disruptions, in the context of the weather warning for Bucharest and Ilfov County, the National Company of Bucharest Airports (CNAB) informs.

„The National Company of Bucharest Airports has taken all necessary measures for the safe conduct of all air operations at both airports of Bucharest. All the steps to be applied by specialized personnel have been established, for several possible scenarios, in order to maintain the continuity of airport activities. Also, the necessary actions have been ordered to ensure the fluency of special operations and for operative interventions, for the entire duration of the validity of the code red for strong winds in gusts and torrential rains”, CNAB representatives reported.

The National Meteorological Administration has issued a Code Red warning for torrential rain, valid from Tuesday, 9:00 p.m., until Wednesday, 3:00 p.m., for Bucharest and the counties of Constanta, Calarasi, Ialomita, Giurgiu and Ilfov. According to the ANM, in the mentioned areas there will be torrential rain and isolated electrical discharges will be reported.AGERPRES
