The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on most indices on Tuesday’s trading session, with turnover standing at 9.07 million lei (1.78 million euro) after the first 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.21%, while the BET-Plus index, reflecting the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was up 0.20%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid securities, posted a rise of 0.17%, whereas the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, slipped 0.01%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment companies (SIFs) fell by 0.21%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sectors, gained 0.34%.
The BET AeRO index, comprising 20 representative companies listed on the AeRO market, recorded a decline of 0.41%.
According to BVB data, the highest share price increases were registered by Armatura (+14.96%), Comelf (+6.05%) and Bittnet Systems (+2.68%).
Conversely, the shares of Prefab (-8.89%), Vrancart (-4.20%) and Sinteza (-3.31%) were down. AGERPRES
