Representatives of the central public administration and digital market specialists are discussing today the intensive digitalisation of the administration and the economy, especially of the SME ecosystem.
According to organisers, digitalisation was triggered under the pressure of the Covid crisis, but the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) gave it „consistance and a calendar that can fundamentally transform the flow of communication, transparency and productivity”.
„We are, however, still very far from the goals that the economy deserves – companies and the citizen: what is the point we have reached starting from the frenzy of four years ago in terms of digitalisation, to where has basic digital technology descended in the area of SMEs and how can we accelerate and expand digitalisation? And, above all, why do we not yet have the interconnectivity between administrative institutions necessary to combat tax evasion and facilitate the activity of the honest business ecosystem? Decision-makers involved in the implementation of public policies, experts and players in the digital market summarise and formulate not only the conclusions of the last two years, but also the solutions both to achieve the goals under the PNRR and to expand and deepen the stake of the IT sector in the administration and companies”, according to organisers.
The event will be attended, among others, by Radu-Nicolae Mihaiu, chairman of the Committee on Information and Communication Technology, Chamber of Deputies; Minister of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Radu Miruta; Pavel Popescu, deputy chairman of the National Regulatory Authority for Communications and Information Technology (ANCOM); Andrei Niculae, deputy chairman of the Authority for the Digital Transformation of Romania; Diana-Alisa Pasavel, expert in accessing funds, implementation and administration of cybersecurity projects, DNSC; Edward Cretescu, chairman of Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, and Cristian Pelivan, executive director of the Romanian Association of Online Stores.
