The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session higher, total transactions accounting for 14.4 million lei (2.83 million euros) the first hour into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 0.13%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a similar increase.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.65%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, increased by 0.96%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs inched up 0.13%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.90%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.49%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by UAMT (10.27%), Aerostar (5.96%) and Transelectrica (3.87%).
On the other hand, the shares of Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-12.96%), Artego (-8.04%) and Carbochim (-4.59%) were going down. AGERPRES
