The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued a Code Yellow wind warning, valid from Monday night at 3:00, in 16 counties in Banat, the south of Crisana, the Southern and Western Carpathians and the seaside.

According to ANM, wind will temporarily strengthen in Banat and the south of Crisana, with speeds of 55 to 65 km/h, and from Tuesday afternoon (25 November) also on the Black Sea coast, with speeds of 50 to 55 km/h. In the Southern and Western Carpathians gusts will reach 70 to 80 km/h, and at altitudes above 1,700 metres will reach 90 to 110 km/h.

Wind intensifications with speeds of 40 to 50 km/h will occur locally in the rest of the country.

The counties under the Code Yellow warning are Arad, Timis and Caras-Severin in full, and parts of Alba, Arges, Bihor, Brasov, Cluj, Constanta, Dambovita, Gorj, Hunedoara, Prahova, Sibiu, Tulcea and Valcea. The warning is valid until Wednesday morning at 8:00. AGERPRES
