Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Sorin Grindeanu said that the Finance Minister presented the budget revision draft to the coalition and all parties agreed on it.
„The Finance Minister came yesterday and gave us an overview of the revision. Most of the amounts go to two areas. One part to Health, toward the National Health Insurance House, in order to cover some of the arrears, and also, an important amount goes to Transport, covering two aspects – also paying some subsidy debts for the CFR, and a payment to Tarom, the state aid approved by the European Commission. These are the main allocations. Of course, there are also funds for Agriculture. [The budget revision] It was presented and everyone agreed,” Grindeanu said on Wednesday at the Palace of Parliament.
He was asked whether he was satisfied with the budget revenues of the National Agency of Fiscal Administration (ANAF).
„I asked my colleagues to conduct a more thorough analysis of the impact of legislative changes on revenues, because I have seen different opinions recently. Some say the impact was positive, meaning collection improved, while others, on the contrary, argue that even though, for example, VAT was increased, revenues did not match the rise in rates. And therefore, I have asked my colleagues, I will present a point of view after I review their findings,” he said. AGERPRES
