PM Bolojan acknowledges Ionut Mosteanu’s resignation, to propose EconMin Miruta interim Defence minister

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced on Friday that he has acknowledged the resignation of Minister of Defence Ionut Mosteanu and that he is proposing Minister of Economy Radu Miruta as interim minister.

‘I have acknowledged the resignation of Mr Ionut Mosteanu from his position as minister of National Defence and deputy prime minister of the Romanian Government. I thank him for his work during his mandate. I will propose to the president of Romania that the interim of the position be ensured by Mr Radu Miruta, minister of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism,’ the prime minister announced in a message published on the Government’s Facebook page.
