The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s session higher, with turnover reaching 5.7 million RON (1.1 million euros) 30 minutes after the start of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.22%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.21%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.19%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.20%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a depreciation of 0.21%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.32%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.57%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Armatura (14.55%), Vrancart (4.45%) and Altur (3.73%).
On the other hand, the shares of the Globinvest Energy&Financials ETF (-7.12%), Chimcomplex (-3.12%) and Rompetrol Rafinare (-1.39%) were in decline.AGERPRES
