The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, on Saturday stated, in Targu Mures, that the Burn Centre at the County Emergency Hospital (SCJU) and the new building of the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Transplantation have advanced significantly since his last visit in the summer of this year.
„There are projects that can be seen, there are projects that are happening, there are projects in an advanced execution phase. If we are to talk about the Burn Centre, together with the one in Timisoara and the one in Bucharest, they will be the first and only centres for severe burns in Romania,” Alexandru Rogobete told a press conference.
According to the Minister, the Burn Centre in Timisoara will be put into use in the spring of next year, and the one in Targu Mures will be completed according to the implementation plan, in March, and will probably become operational in June-July.
„I am glad that we managed to keep this investment objective in the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), even though it was not on the list initially, when we resumed negotiation in July. However, by bringing technical arguments, with a lot of explanations and negotiations, both from the builders and from the designers, we managed to keep it in the PNRR. And I am glad that it happened like this because what I said then, what I actually argued then proved to be real and that it definitely happened,” said the Minister of Health. AGERPRES
